Our Story: Founded in 2006 by Matt, Wise Automotive is a family owned and operated auto repair and commercial service center. As of July in 2023 Wise Automotive changed ownership to Derek and Courtney Knaus. Derek grew up in Kansas on his grandfathers hog farm where mechanics were a part of life. Anything from tractors to autos you found a way to fix and repair them. After moving to Washington in 2008 and meeting my wife Courtney we decided Ellensburg was for us! I worked at a couple of jobs before I was granted the opportunity to work at Wise Automotive. In 2014 I started as a technician and loved the challenge of diagnostics and repairs. After a couple of years I moved into service manager position and the rest is history.
